450-Bed Student Housing Development
2.6 acres across the street from College Park District
In 2012, Osher started acquiring aggregating properties across the street from UT Arlington newest campus expansion named College Park District.
Osher plans are to develop a 160 unit, 400 beds student housing project on nearly 2.8 acres located across the street from College Park District, which was $160 million development that UTA completed 2 years ago. The development would be a Texas Wrap style structure where the units would be wrapped around the structured parking. The main entrance to the project will be located on the corner for E. 3rd St. and S. Center St. facing College Park Center, the $78 million, 218,000-square-foot facility, that can accommodate up to 6,750 guests for a center-stage concert and 7,000 for traditional court-based athletics events.
“College Park District is the most ambitious project in UT Arlington history—practically a campus in and of itself. Spanning more than 20 acres, the $160 million development is a place where students, neighbors, and visitors can intermingle while enjoying stellar entertainment, sports, and restaurants.”
